MB Sreenivasan, created songs that touched malayali hearts like nobody else. His uncanny ability to preserve the most beautiful elements of the language has been the reason why there has been only one MBS ever. Born in 1925 in Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), MBS composed his first movie songs in 1960 for the Tamil movie
Paadhai Theriyithu Paar. However for the next 28 years, he scored for only 9 more tamil movies. He made a definite mark in malayalam for several reasons. Even those malayalees who don't quite subscribe to his style of music will always remember him for introducing the great Yesudas to Malayalam movies in his first movie
Kaalpaadukal.
