MSI (MalayalaSangeetham.Info) and its sister database MMDb (Malayalam Movie Database) is a comprehensive and authoritative reference for the 85+ year old Malayalam Movies and Music. All information you ever wanted to know about any movie is available at your fingertips using MSI.
A US based Malayali Computer Scientist started this effort as his personal hobby in 2001 and it was officially launched under a different URL in 2003. Thereafter it started attracting 1000s of music lovers from around the world who has been helping us put together with encyclopedia.
Just to give you a feel for what we have here - Informaton regarding Movies, Music, Albums and its music, Profiles of Artists, Reviews of Movies, Audio Clips, Video Links and so on.
Today, radio channels and TV stations that play Malayalam music and print media that writes about Malayalam movies and music uses MSI. A lot of noted personalities in this field have visited MSI and tells you directly why they believe MSI is a historical landmark.
