Thandayan Raman Ajayan, popularly known as T. R. Ajayan, is a renowned Malayalam literary and music critic and patron of arts and culture in Kerala. He is the son of Indian freedom fighter TK Raman.
Shri TR Ajayan is a Founder Promoter Member and convening Secretary of Swaralaya Palakkad, a popular arts and cultural forum with more than 1800 life members, which he co-founded in 1997. He is also one of the current Directors of Malayalam Communications, the corporate entity behind the popular Malayalam television channels Kairali ,We TV and People Televisions . He is also the Technical member of Kerala State Housing Board.
In addition, he is also the President of Palakkad District Sports Council and Treasurer of Kerala State Purogamana Kala Sahithya Sangham Kerala State committee. Besides these positions, TR Ajayan has also held directorships and key positions in various corporate entities and literary and socio-cultural organisations in Kerala , Aalochana Sahithya Vedi, and Palakkad District Tourism Promotion Council.
A qualified civil engineer by profession, for over four decades, TR Ajayan has during his illustrious professional career in Kerala PWD, project-managed the construction of over thirty major bridges and more than twenty major buildings as well as several new important roads in Palakkad District.
As the Director in Charge of Marketing and Chairman of Marketing Committee of Malayalam Communications which runs KAIRALI, PEOPLE & WE Televisions since the year 2000, he has achieved a lot to take the company to profit in Four Years and placed it among the top television channels of South India.
He has edited several books called Nadadhara, Nadaveechi and Mundoor Krishnankutty - Ororma published by various publishing houses and continues to write articles in periodicals regularly.He is currently active as one of the architects and the founder secretary of the Palakkad District Library, which is fast becoming one the major cultural hubs for that part of the state.
Shri Ajayan has been associated with MSI since 2009 in various advisory capacities and took up a formal role as a Board Director of MSI in 2015.
S. Gopalakrishnan has worked as an archivist with the central archives of India’s public broadcaster All India Radio as well as in the field of music documentation and dissemination. He also brings long years of experience in content management in FM radio and Sahapedia, an online resource on India's cultural heritage. He is a Malayalam columnist regularly contributing for Bhashaposhini and Samakalika Malayalam, author of three books and a Kerala Sahitya Academy award winner for the book 'Kadha Pole Chilathu Sambhavikkumbol'. He has translated Khushwant Singh’s novel ‘The Train to Pakistan’ into Malayalam for Penguin India.
At present he is the content-head of the UAE operations of Radio Mango, based in Dubai.
Poet, Novelist, Lyricist, Professor -- Manoj Kuroor has excelled in all the fields he has been active in. Manoj was born in 1971 to Chenda Vidwan Kuroor Vasudevan Namboothiri and Sreedevi Antharjanam. A native of Kottayam he was educated in St Basiliyus College and Changanassery SB College.
Having learned Thayambaka and Kadhakali Chendamelam from his father, he joined MG University School of letters as a researcher. His research in Kunchan Nambiar's Harineeswayamvaram's rhythms earned him an M Phil and later a doctorate degree in Folk Rhythms in Malayalam Poetry.
He has written several literary works such as - Nilam poothu malarna naal (Novel), Uthamapurushan Kadhaparayumbol (Poems), Nathonnatha, Nadivazhi 44 (River based poetries), Anchadi Njanappana Onappattu, Koma, Shanmukhavijayam Aattakkadha, Rahmaniya, Nirappakittulla Nritha Sangeetham and so on..
Thrithala Kesavan (Poem) received the Kunchupilla Smaraka Kavitha Puraskaram in 1997. He is also the recipient of SBT Kavitha Award and Sahithya Academy Kanakasree Award in 2005 and 2007 respectively.
His first foray into Film music was through Shaji N Karun's Vanaprastham. He has since written songs for many movies such as Swapanam, Angels, Loham etc .
He currently works as the Professor of Malayalam in Changanassery NSS College. He is married to Sandhyadevi and the couple have 3 children - Sreedevi, KM Vishakh and K Vasudevan
Ravi Menon is one of the leading music journalists in Kerala today.
Currently the research head of Club FM (Mathrubhumi), he has written several best sellers about malayalam and hindi music. His interpretation of the personal side of music and movies has made him an endearing figure among artists and common man alike.
His unparalleled passion and deep knowledge about Old Hindi Music and Football are well documented as well.
Having joined MSI as an advisor several years back, Ravi has contributed and promoted MSI in the media through various works and through word of mouth.
Ravi Menon's Paattezhuthu is one of the mostly widely read series in Malayalam since 2003.
He has received several awards and in 2014, received the State Film Journalist award for the article, Sabdalokathe Ilaman Gadha.
Dr Madhu Vasudevan
Dr Madhu Vasudevan is a leading poet, lyricist and critic in Kerala today. Professor of Hindi at Maharajas College in Cochin since 2005, Madhu was born in 1969 in Alleppey to P Vasudevan/MP Karthyayani.
Educated in SDV High School, SD College, Cochin University, he obtained his PG Diploma in Journalism from Bharatheeya Vidya Bhavan and B Ed from Calicut Education Center.
Dr Vasudevan obtained his PhD from Cochin university in literature and has written several books. Some of his leading works are Samskrithiyude Vyakaranam, MDR, Sangeethaardhamu etc..
He has written several memorable songs already in his career as a lyricist. His song 'Ottakku Paadunna Poonkuyile..' in the movie Nadan fetched him the State award for best lyricist. He is the recipient of various awards such as Film Critics award, Filmfare Award, Eenam Swaralaya International Award, South India International Movie Award, Radio Mirchi Award and many others.

B Vijayakumar needs no introduction to Malayalam music lovers. One of the leading researches in Indian Movies and music, Vijayakumar has had several accolades in his career as musicologist.
He has been the force behind AIR's Ganalokaveedhikalil, 'Old is Gold' in Hindu and a sought after writer in many periodicals and dailies across Kerala
His in depth knowledge in Old Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi music is perhaps unparalleled today. It is this statistical interest and the utmost adherence to the factual accuracy that endeared him to MSI several years back.
He is currently one of the major forces behind MSI through his constant research and spreading the word regarding our humble project.
A retired Bank officer, he currently lives in Cochin sharing his time between music and Raksha Society for the care of children with special needs, where he serves as an honorary secretary.
