ആന്റോ ഫ്രാന്‍സിസിന്റെയും ഡേസ്സി ഹ്യൂന്റോയുടെയും മകളായി ഗേളി എന്ന ഗോപിക. ഒരു സഹോദരി ക്ലിന്‍ലി. ഒല്ലൂര്‍ സെന്റ് റാഫേലില്‍ നിന്നും 12ല്‍ നിന്നും പാസ്സായതിനുശേഷം കാലിക്കറ്റ് സര്‍വ്വകലാശാലയില്‍ നിന്നും സോഷ്യോളജിയില്‍ ബിരുദമെടുത്തു. നല്ലൊരു നര്‍ത്തകി കൂടിയാണു് ഗോപിക.
കോളേജ് ഫേര്‍വെലിന്റെ സമയത്തു മിസ്സ് കോളേജായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു്. എയര്‍ ഹോസ്റ്റസ് ആകാനായിരുന്നു ആഗ്രഹം. അവിചാരിതമായിട്ടാണു് സിനിമയില്‍ എത്തിയതെങ്കിലും ഒട്ടനവധി നല്ല കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടു്. മിസ് തൃശൂര്‍ കോണ്‍ടെസ്റ്റിലെ ഫസ്റ്റ് റണ്ണര്‍അപ്പായിരുന്നു.
തുളസിദാസിന്റെ പ്രണയത്തൂവല്‍ ആയിരുന്നു ആദ്യ ചിത്രം. പിന്നീടു് ചെയ്തതു് ഫോര്‍ ദി പീപ്പിള്‍ ആയിരുന്നു. അതേ വര്‍ഷം (2004) തന്നെ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചേരന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തഭിനയിച്ച തമിഴ് ചിത്രം ഓട്ടോഗ്രാഫില്‍ നല്ലൊരു കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു. പിന്നീടു് തമിഴിലും മലയാലത്തിലുമായി ഒട്ടനവധി നല്ല ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടു്. 2008ല്‍ ചെയ്ത വെറുതെയൊരു ഭാര്യ ഏറ്റവും ഹിറ്റായ ചിത്രമാണു്. വെറുതെയൊരു ഭാര്യയുടെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗിനിടെയായിരുന്നു ഗോപികയുടെ വിവാഹം. വിവാഹത്തിനു ശേഷം അഭിനയിച്ച ചിത്രങ്ങളാണ് സ്വ. ലേ., ഭാര്യ അത്ര പോര തുടങ്ങിയവ
ഡോക്ടര്‍ അജിലേഷാണു് ഭര്‍ത്താവു്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഭര്‍ത്താവിനോടൊപ്പം അയര്‍ലന്‍ഡിലാണു് താമസം. ഒരു മകളുണ്ടു്.

Girly Anto, credited by her stage name Gopika (born 1 February 1984), is an Indian former actress, who has predominantly starred in Malayalam films. Starting her career as a model, she ventured into acting with the Malayalam film, Pranayamanithooval (2002), directed by Thulasidas, opposite Jayasurya and Vineeth Kumar. She acted in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries as well.
