Prashanth
Prashanth Thyagarajan (born 6 April 1973 in Chennai, India) is an Indian actor.
Prasanth Thiagarajan was born in Chennai. His father Thiagarajan is an actor in Tamil films and his maternal grandfather Peketi Sivaram was an actor and an acclaimed director of Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Prasanth has a sister, Preeti.
Prashanth Thyagarajan debuted in 1990 in the film Vaigasi Poranthachu when he was 17 years old. His other notable films include Balu Mahendra's Vanna Vannna Pookal and R.K. Selvamani's Chembaruthi, both released in 1992. Then in 1998, Prasanth Thyagarajan appeared in S. Shankar's blockbuster film Jeans. His other super hit films include Kannedhirey Thondrinal (1998), Jodi (1999), Parthen Rasithen (2000), Thamizh (2002) (all above four films with Simran) and Winner (2003). In the film industry Prasanth had worked with many well-known directors such as Balu Mahendra, Mani Ratnam, S. Shankar, R.K. Selvamani, Vasanth, Agathiyan.
