Shri Vikraman Nair was from Paalkulangara, Trivandrum. His father P K Krishna Pillai was a playwright and stage actor of that time. Vikraman Nair had his BA degree from University College, Trivandrum and BSc from Patna, Bihar.
Vikraman Nair was keen on Drama. He acted in stage plays and studied about drama. He was popular in the amateur drama artists association in Trivandrum. He wrote a one act play - KURUKKUVAZHI . It was published after his death in 1987 , and the play was staged successfully at VJT hall, Trivandrum. The one act play written in the 'expressionist' style was well appreciated.
P K Vikraman Nair was an engineer by profession and worked in PWD. He acted in at least 2 movies - "Sasidharan" and "Chandrika".
Some of his roles in dramas - Hakim in "Marthanda Varma", Mathukutty in "Avan Varunnu" , the eccentric artist in "Minnal Pranayam" well applauded by the audience.
His younger brother PK Venukkuttan Nair also was a well renowned stage and movie actor. Present day actor Janardhanan is related to him.
He passed away in November 1962.
